One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a one-car crash in western Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol[1].
The crash took place just after 3:30 p.m. on Hartzog Road, about two miles from Walt Disney World and Disney's Animal Kingdom, the FHP said.
The driver of a Nissan was heading west towards Avalon Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, overturned, and struck a small tree, the FHP said.
The driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers were working to identify the driver and notify the next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
