Kenyan car show attracts hundreds of vintage car enthusiasts

This year's Concours d'Elegance in Kenya attracted hundreds of classic car owners at the Ngong Racecourse in the country's capital Nairobi.

The spectators were treated to a glorious display of car glamour. Steve Parkinson emerged winner with his 1950 Jaguar Mark V. Parkinson's victory ended the three-year dominance of the 1928 Phoenix Aviation Ford. The Concours remains a premier event on the Nairobi social calendar, attracting competitors from far and wide. This year participants from outside Kenya included six cars from Uganda and three from South Africa.

The rest were 19 members of the Uganda Bikers' Association.
