The southern hemisphere picked up a Scottish double at the 2016 Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday, where New Zealand's Daniel Wallis and Australia's Hillory Davis won the men and women's races, respectively. Great Britain rounded off the podiums in both races, with Rob Watson and Mike Crawley collecting the silver and bronze medals in the men's discipline, per the official Great Run Twitter account: #GreatEdinburghRun[1] Elite Men Top 3 Wallis ended up more than a minute clear of his closest competition, but Davis was pushed harder for her victory, and Edinburgh-based Janet Dunbar was just over 30 seconds behind the pace: #GreatEdinburghRun[3] Elite Women Top 3 For full results, check out the Great Run website.[5] On the same day that Brighton and Hamburg hosted full-length marathons, runners both professional and amateur made their way to Scotland's capital for the quicker pace of the 10-mile Great Edinburgh Run.
