Besides driving his regular #24 Chevrolet SS in Saturday night's Sprint Cup Series Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, Chase Elliott will also pilot the #5 TaxSlayer.com Chevrolet Camaro in Friday night's XFINITY Series race.
Elliott captured his first NASCAR XFINITY Series win at Texas Motor Speedway in 2014 after leading 38 of 200 laps in a JR Motorsports (JRM) Chevrolet. The Georgia native has four starts at the 1.5-mile track, which includes two top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes. Elliott has 38 starts on tracks measuring one to two miles in length, totaling three wins, 15 top-five and 31 top-10 finishes, with two poles. In his three NXS starts this season, Elliott has one win (Daytona) and has an average finishing position of 3.3.-JRM
