A woman whose car plunged into an ice-covered river in Shandong, China, was rescued thanks to the help of people who just happened to be walking by.
According to the Daily Mail[1], a group of five men rushed to the driver's aid, with one man throwing himself into the frigid water to apparently try and kick open a window.
The rescuers climb on the car before they find a log to shatter the back window.
They finally manage to get one of the doors open and pull the woman to safety.
Having suffered injuries to her head and chest, the victim was taken immediately to the hospital, where she has since been in the ICU in a coma.
