Autobell Car Wash, which has eight locations in metro Atlanta including Acworth, Marietta and Mableton, announced that it has awarded 130 employees in the Carolinas, Virginia and Georgia its 2016 academic scholarships toward the college or university of their choice.
Local recipients are Michael Roberts of Acworth; Owen Borawski and Grayson Gardener, both Kennesaw; and Pablo Avecilla, Allyson Budreau and Kevin Lippelt, all of Marietta.
The Autobell Scholarship is an annual program open to current Autobell employees of at least 12 months continuous employment who are graduating high school seniors or have received a high school diploma. This year's gifts totaled $173,250. Since its inception, the Autobell Scholarship Program has awarded more than $1.1 million in academic funds to employees.
