A naked man who went into cardiac arrest after North Carolina deputies shocked him with a stun gun, has died.
Ritchie Lee Harbison of Clear Creek Road wrecked his car into four parked cars where deputies found him naked near Howard Gap Road after 1 a.m. Tuesday, Henderson County Sheriff Maj Frank Stout said in a statement.
Stout said deputies found the 62 year-old naked man acting "irrationally" and "uncooperative."
Deputies tried to pin Harbison down, but instead, he charged at them, prompting deputies to use a Taser, he said.

After police shocked Harbison, he went into cardiac arrest, and then was taken to a local hospital where he died, Stout said.
The deputy who used the Taser is placed on administrative leave as the State Bureau of Investigation continues to investigate whether the deputy used the appropriate amount of force, Stout told the Citizen-Times[2].
The sheriff's office did not release the deputy's name.
Stun gun laws in North Carolina allow most people to purchase, possess, or use a stun gun in public without a permit.

However, it is illegal for law enforcement and armed guards to carry a concealed stun gun in public, according to the law.
A case involving a 49-year-old Bronx man[4] who was killed after police Tasered him twice to subdue him, raised questions of whether the police used appropriate force.
Police shocked Ariel Galarza after a neighbor had called 911 claiming he threatened her with a knife. Galarza went into cardiac arrest as cops tried to resuscitate him. He was rushed to a hospital where he died, police said.
State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's office is investigating that case.
