Rison camped at Alabama last summer and received an offer during his stay.
The one-time Michigan State commit is the son of former Spartan All-American and Pro Bowl receiver Andre Rison. Tide head coach Nick Saban coached Rison's father during his time in East Lansing.
Recently, 247Sports' Tom Loy caught up with Rison about the UA offer.
"Nick Saban coached my dad," said Rison. "He recruited my dad. He was family friends with my grandmother. I know him well and I know Bobby Williams well. Getting an offer from them, the National Champions, it's mind blowing. It's surreal."
Standing at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Rison is rated the No. 43 receiver and the No. 299 overall player in the country, per the 247Sports Composite, an industry-generated average. Michigan State remains the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite at 100 percent.
Alabama's 2017 recruiting class has six commits currently. For the full list of offers, click here[5].
