Four people are trapped in their cars following a two-car crash on a north-east road.
The collision occurred on an unclassified road that runs between the A947 and B9170 near Delgatie Castle, Turriff.
The fire service have said four people are trapped in their cars, it is not known whether they have been seriously injured.
Three engines are at the scene along with police and ambulance service.
